This Privacy Policy explains what information Page2Party collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Page2Party, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password (or your Google account details if you sign up with Google) when you register.
• Invitation content — the wedding/event details, photos, and love story content you add to your invitation.
• Guest RSVP data — when someone RSVPs to your invitation, we collect the guest's name, phone number, attendee count, and any message or custom responses they submit, along with their IP address and browser user agent for fraud prevention.
• Usage and device data — your IP address (used to auto-detect your timezone) and general analytics about how you use the platform.
• Payment information — if you purchase a premium plan, payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and invitations
• To let your guests view your invitation and submit RSVPs
• To send you account-related emails, such as RSVP notifications and password resets
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or duplicate RSVP submissions
• To improve and monitor the performance of our platform
• To process payments for premium plans (via Razorpay)

3. Signing In With Google

If you choose to sign in or register using Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier from Google. We use this only to create or match your Page2Party account — we never receive or store your Google password.

4. Guest Data

If you are a wedding guest submitting an RSVP, your name, phone number, and any message you provide are shared with the invitation owner (the couple or host who created the invitation) so they can plan their event. We do not use guest RSVP data for marketing and do not sell it to third parties.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme preference, and understand how the platform is used. Some pages may include analytics scripts configured by us to measure traffic and improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect parts of the service.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers, and uploaded photos are stored using our media storage provider. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with:

• Razorpay, to process payments for premium plans
• Service providers who help us run the platform (e.g. hosting and storage providers), under obligations to protect your data
• Authorities, where required by law

8. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete most of your account information directly from your dashboard and account settings. You may also contact us to request a copy of your data or to have your account and associated data permanently deleted.

9. Data Retention

We retain your account and invitation data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your invitations, guest RSVP data, and uploaded media are permanently removed from our systems, except where we are required to retain limited records (e.g. payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

Page2Party is not directed at children, and account holders must be at least 18 years old, consistent with our Terms & Conditions.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
